SABER INSTITUTE




SABER: The Strategic Alliance for Business and Economic Research is an economic development partnership between with St. Mary’s University of San Antonio, Texas and the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber. The SABER Institute’s mission is to provide a think tank where local leaders come together for consider economic development and organizational opportunities and to implement their findings under The Neighborhood Revitalization Project.

SABER participants are creating and cataloging a knowledge base of regional economic influences and assessing how these influences may be used to stimulate ongoing development through the initiative

SABER is providing significant educational, research, and service opportunities for students,
delivering high-quality economic research to the members of the Hispanic Chamber and other clients, and assisting St. Mary’s University faculty and staff and other partner organization with grant applications toward achieving the vision.
