KLUP 2/12 US Air New Flights
US Airways is offering two new regional flights between its Charlotte, NC hub and the San Antonio International Airport. US Airways will begin offering two flights daily in each direction beteen Charlotte, NC and San Antonio on May 4 via heir commuter carrier, Mesa Airlines, using an 86-seat Canadair CRJ900. US Airways' Director of Express Planning, Jason Reisinger, noted that the new routes are supported by a solid business and government base, outstanding educational institutions, a diverse economy, culture and tourism. US Air is pleased to offer central Texas connections to Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean through our Charlotte hub. Tempe, Ariz.-based US Airways (NYSE: LLC) is now offering 540 daily departures to 128 nonstop destinations from its Charlotte hub. The airline is the fifth-largest carrier in the country.
