KLUP 2/14 SABOR Bob Leonard

The chairman of the San Antonio Board of Realtors (SABOR), Bob Leonard, is taking on a statewide assignment. Leonard, a Realtor with Re/Max Associates, has been appointed to the Texas Association of Realtors' Tax and Appraisal Task Force. The organization serves as an advocate for implementing reforms in the state's appraisal process and in the use of real property taxes in Texas. Work by the tax force has resulted in legislative actions to protect property owners from mortgage fraud, excessive deed restrictions, taxation and other issues. Leonard has been a licensed Realtor and a member of SABOR since 1986. In 2005, he was elected to the board of directors for SABOR.
